Your remote L2/L3 engineering team in India.
Golonex operates as a Network Operations Centre for IT providers and MSPs who sell and deploy infrastructure but do not have certified engineers to configure it. Your L1 gives us access. We handle everything above the cable — networks, servers, cloud, DevOps, monitoring, and incident response.
Three service areas. One engineering team.
Whether it is a switch on a factory floor, a cloud environment, or a CI/CD pipeline that needs ownership — the same team of certified Golonex engineers handles it remotely from India.
Switch & Router Configuration
VLAN setup, trunking, STP/RSTP, OSPF/BGP routing, QoS, port security, LACP, and inter-VLAN routing across Cisco, HPE Aruba, Ubiquiti, Juniper, and all major platforms.
Firewall Configuration
Zone-based policies, ACL hardening, NAT/PAT, IPsec and SSL VPN, IPS tuning, application control — vendor-agnostic across Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Cisco ASA, and pfSense.
Wireless & SD-WAN
SSID design, VLAN-to-SSID mapping, AP clustering, roaming policies, RF optimisation, captive portal. SD-WAN overlay configuration, path selection, and failover policies.
Cloud Network Configuration
VPC/VNet design, subnet segmentation, security group and NSG rules, VPN gateways, transit gateway, peering, and cloud firewall policies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Server Configuration
OS hardening, role and feature setup, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, IIS/Apache/Nginx on Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian).
Cloud Infrastructure Configuration
Compute instance setup, auto-scaling groups, load balancers, managed databases, IAM roles and policies, storage configuration, and environment baseline across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Infrastructure Management
Ongoing management of your infrastructure estate — patch cycles, configuration drift correction, capacity planning, and infrastructure-as-code alignment (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates).
DevOps Pipeline Management
CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance — GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins. Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Compose), registry management, and deployment automation.
Remote Uptime Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of all managed devices and services. CPU, memory, disk, interface utilisation, and availability tracked with configurable alert thresholds and escalation paths.
Incident Response
When something goes down, we respond. Remote L2/L3 engineers triage and resolve — with your L1 onsite if physical intervention is needed. Defined SLA per engagement tier.
L1 provides access. We do the rest.
No specialist knowledge required from your team or your customer team on the ground. We guide physical access setup, then take over remotely for everything above the cable.
Your L1 provides site access
For physical devices — switches, routers, servers — your L1 engineer or the end customer team arrives onsite, connects the hardware, and gives Golonex secure remote access. We guide them through the access setup step by step. No specialist knowledge required.
Golonex L2/L3 engineers remote in and execute
Certified Golonex engineers take over remotely and handle all configuration and management tasks. Cloud and DevOps work is done entirely remotely with no site visit needed.
Every config change is documented before it happens
Before touching any device or environment, we log the change — what, why, scope, and rollback steps. We follow your change log process if one exists, or provide a simple one if not. No undocumented changes.
Post-change validation and sign-off
After every change we run a defined test checklist, confirm the affected services are working as expected, and document the outcome. You get a clear record of what was done.
Documentation and handover package
Every engagement ends with complete documentation: as-built network diagrams, device configuration backups, and a handover briefing. Your customer knows exactly what was done and how to operate it going forward.
Every config change is logged, planned, and validated.
We do not touch devices without a change log. Before any configuration or infrastructure change executes, we document the scope and write the rollback plan.
This is infrastructure change management — not enterprise ITSM. It means you always know what was changed, when, by whom, and what the result was. That discipline protects your customer relationship and makes handovers clean.
- ✓
Change log before any work starts
Before touching any device or config, we record what is changing, why, and the exact scope. No undocumented changes — ever.
- ✓
Rollback plan documented upfront
We define rollback steps before executing any change. If something breaks, the recovery path is already planned — not improvised under pressure.
- ✓
Post-change validation
After every configuration or infrastructure change, we test affected services, confirm expected behaviour, and only close the change once validated.
- ✓
Configuration change history
Every change is logged with timestamp, engineer, device, and outcome. You always know what was changed and when — useful for troubleshooting and handovers.
One-off, project, retainer, or white-label
All engagements are scoped and priced upfront. No surprise billing. No scope creep without a change request.
One-off configuration
Single device or scoped project. Fixed price, quoted after a brief discovery call. Delivered within agreed timeframe.
Project rollout
Multi-site or multi-device deployment with a phased schedule. Configuration, testing, documentation, and handover across all sites.
Managed retainer
Monthly retainer covering ongoing configuration management, monitoring, preventive maintenance, and incident response. SLA-backed.
White-label for MSPs & resellers
Golonex engineers operate under your brand. Your customers interact with your team; we deliver the technical work behind the scenes.
For IT businesses that sell more than they can configure
This service exists for IT providers whose technical delivery capacity does not match what they sell. Do not turn away infrastructure projects because you lack the engineers — use ours.
- → IT resellers and VARs who supply hardware but do not have certified configuration engineers
- → MSPs expanding their service portfolio without adding headcount or training costs
- → IT providers who want to take on networking and infrastructure projects they currently turn away
- → Businesses with a local IT presence that lacks specialist-level engineering skills above L1
- → Greenfield rollouts — new office builds, branch deployments, cloud migrations — that need remote L2/L3 coverage
- → Any project where you need a named engineer, a change log, and a proper handover package
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a remote NOC and a helpdesk? +
A helpdesk takes tickets from users and routes them. A remote NOC — like Golonex — proactively monitors, configures, and manages infrastructure at Layer 2/3. We own the change process, handle complex device configurations, and hold escalations that a helpdesk neither has the tooling nor the certifications to touch. The result is that your on-site team provides physical access; we do everything above the cable.
Which platforms and vendors do you support? +
Network: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, Aruba. Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP. Server and virtualisation: Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V. Containers and infrastructure-as-code: Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible. If you use a vendor not listed, ask — the answer is usually yes.
How do you handle change management and rollbacks? +
Every configuration change requires a written change record with pre-change state, intended change, and rollback procedure before any remote session begins. We execute the rollback before closing if validation fails — a device is never left in an unknown state. The change log is available to your team and IS audit reviewers at any time, with timestamps and engineer attribution.
Is this suitable for banks and regulated entities? +
Yes. RBI's IT Framework and IS Audit requirements explicitly cover change management, configuration baselines, and infrastructure documentation. Our change-log discipline and documented rollback procedures are structured to satisfy IS audit evidence requirements — so the audit trail is a natural output of the engagement, not an afterthought.
What happens if a device is unreachable during a remote session? +
We contact your designated on-site coordinator immediately. Every managed engagement includes a defined escalation path to a local resource who can provide physical access if needed. For critical changes, we schedule a pre-session connectivity verification so this scenario is identified before work begins rather than during it.
